Rubber-Bottomed Knit Dog Socks Small (4 Socks) Color: Black
Great product 4 dogs w mobility problems
I have a sight-hound mix who is a senior citizen. He kept going upstairs to sleep. One day I found him on the landing & realized he could not get down. Going up & down the stairs had pinched a nerve in his lower spine. I noticed there was something funny going on with his front paws. When he fell he had also pinched a nerve in his neck.
I immediately started looking for boots to give him better traction. After several fails I found these boots. They have been a God-send. He is able to get up & down w/o any problems. I did put a gate across the stairs!
The boots are a bit tricky getting on. I found a jar and put the new boots over the jar to help stretch the top of the sock. And Bunny quickly figured out he can easily pull the boots off. I took a 1 inch strip of Vet Wrap and put it around his leg just above his hind toe. Works like a charm.
A bit of advice..When you put the boots on make sure there is extra room for the toes. Dog toenails will poke through if the boot is pulled up too high.
I boarded Bunny at my vet's for the weekend and everyone was impressed on how well "Bunny Red Boots" was getting around.

These rubber sole knit socks are awesome. They stay on the foot whereas so many of the boots/shoes come off. I work with k9s with mobility problems and I keep the socks on hand for them to try.
My only criticism is that they run small.

Very nice socks.
These socks are way too tight to get on my dog's paws. I cannot use them. I fist ordered size medium and returned them because they were too small.

Loves his black boots.
My 9-year old Airedale Terrier can now walk on the hardwood floors anywhere in the house without sliding, falling or hurting his hip joints. They are not easy to put on, but they usually stay on. I bought the black ones for him. They were delivered quickly. We are both happy with the purchase!
