Taos Reflective Coat
What a well made product. I am impressed with the materials that went into this coat and the finishing details. It was always a struggle getting my little guy into his other coat but the Taos coat slips over his head easily, the chest band slides between the front legs easily and the quick connect clips join the sides easily. Adjustment is fast and Rascal has the freedom of movement with nothing binding or chaffing his legs or other parts of his body. Good choice for active dogs.

Better than I even expected!
I love this coat and my dog doesn't mind it at all! My dog is a German Short Haired Pointer. Very Active! The last coat I purchased her was a good coat; it fastened with Velcro. However, she "lost" it in the woods running shortly after she got it. I purchased this one. I love the color and it reflects well in the dark. The construction is better than the last as it has good cover for her chest...no Velcro. It easily slips over her head. It truly is waterproof; my dog hates rain(!). The closure clips on the sides are adjustable.
The only thing it fell short on is that I would like to see the coat hem hit the area of her back at her tail. She is long bodied. I am glad I purchased it for her.

Great Coat! (DON'T PUT IN DRYER!!!)
This is a great coat! Covers the chest (a feature difficult to find in larger sizes) and was easily tailored to my dog's slender chest/shoulders (simply tacked the "V" under the neck close). XL fit my 60# GSD perfectly. It is easily adjusted and fits to the dog nicely (see photo). The back does flip up in the wind, so I tacked on a wide black elastic band with velcro to hold it down- an easy fix for a female dog. It machine washes beautifully, but today I made the mistake of putting it in the dryer. Oops! Something inside shrank up and now it appears "gathered" inside the garment around the spine pad. Very strange. But, to be fair, the label DOES say "line dry," so no fault but my own. I agree with those who would like to see harness access slits (both for chest and back hook-ups, please). The raspberry is a lovely, dark, almost burgundy rose. The burgundy is very dark and would make a nice alternative to black if you're concerned about dirt. The reflective strips are very bright and effective (see photo). Overall, I am very pleased with this and will likely purchase another to replace the one I shrank. And this time... No dryer!
