Fresh Air Cat Litter
Step 1
For smaller litter boxes, place the carbon pad at bottom of litter box (shiny side down). For larger litter boxes, place both (2 pads are included in our 14lb box) carbon pads on the litter box bottom (shiny side down) to cover as much of the bottom as possible.
Step 2
Pour entire contents of box of Fresh Air Litter into litter box with a minimum depth of 2.5 inches.
Step 3
Place the litter box in its regular location and forget it! Simply remove dried feces with any standard cat litter scoop.
Important to note: Fresh Air Litter categorically contains no dust. Fine particles may appear in the air from time to time during the initial pour or when moisture from your cat's urine makes contact with the litter. These fine particles are not dust, as commonly found in traditional clay litters; they are fine particles of pure Zeolite, an inert volcanic mineral that is 100% safe for your family and pet(s).
How to transition to Fresh Air Litter
Most cats take to Fresh Air Litter very easily. If you believe you have a finicky feline, we recommend placing a 1"-2" layer of your existing litter on top of the Fresh Air Litter the first time you use it. This will help your cat transition more easily from the current litter by providing a familiar texture and setting. Once your cat is consistently using the litter successfully, you may gradually lessen the amount of old litter or stop using the old litter altogether and provide Fresh Air Litter alone. Transition time depends upon your unique cat.
Compare Fresh Air to your Current Litter
- Fresh Air Litter is treated to minimize dust and categorically has no silica dust. Other clay cat litters often have silica dust, which is known to be harmful to animals and humans when inhaled.
- Fresh Air Litter is made from all-natural mineral that is inert and 100% safe (nontoxic in every way) - safe for animals and humans, even if ingested.
- Fresh Air Litter's granular size is made specifically to minimize tracking, helping to keep your home cleaner.
- Fresh Air Litter is non-clumping and quickly absorbs all liquid, so you'll never have to scoop out urine clumps. Simply remove solid waste as needed.
- Fresh Air Litter is environmentally friendly - while clay cat liters turn to a cement-type paste that is a major concern for landfills, Fresh Air Litter biodegrades and does not occupy significant landfill space.
- Unlike other "Natural litters," Fresh Air Litter is not made from food sources or forest products.
- Fresh Air Litter contains no Bentonite.
- Fresh Air Litter is made of Zeolite, a natural mineral that can be added to soil safely for disposal and has been known to actually improve soil quality.
- Once solid waste has been removed, Fresh Air Litter can be disposed of in a flowerbed and makes an excellent fertilizer.
Why doesn't Fresh Air Cat Litter clump?
Fresh Air Cat Litter does not NEED to clump in order to stay pristine.
Most litters on the market today clump to prevent urine sinking to the bottom of the cat litter box. As a result, you must scoop out the clumps to keep your current litter box clean and tidy - hoping that makes it odorless.
The second urine hits Fresh Air Litter, it is broken down at a molecular level, and the ammonia becomes nitrogen and water, which eventually evaporates. The bacteria are killed by the CO2 released from the pad. The end result = no urine left in the box and no bacteria to cause future odor!
Once urine is changed into nitrogen and water, the remaining moisture evaporates - and that's why Fresh Air Cat Litter lasts 2 months!
Unbelievable odor control
- Fresh Air Cat Litter traps ammonia molecules and eliminates odor even when subjected to urination over multiple weeks and months!
- No other litters can compete as Fresh Air Cat Litter can be exposed to 7-10 times the ammonia and emit almost zero odor.
- Great for multiple cats.
- The most powerful and effective odor control on the market.
