Arm & Hammer Litter Pans

Durable, high-polish litter pans are not only priced affordably, but they also offer continuous antimicrobial protection to inhibit bacteria growth and the associated odors. Each features high sides to contain litter scatter, so the floors around the box stay cleaner, too. Hooded Litter Pan with door flap includes an odor-neutralizing filter. It also has the ability to house the Deodorizing Dispenser, sold separately, which you can fill with Fresh 'n Purr Crystals (or powdered deodorizers) and dispense daily or as needed to provide additional odor control.

The Rimmed Litter Pan features an easy-access, dipped front, which is especially nice for kittens or small cats. The high-sided, removable rim helps control litter scatter. The rimmed pan cannot house the deodorizing dispenser, but you can still sprinkle in a little of the litter deodorizer daily for additional odor control.

Each of these pans is made of durable, high-polish plastic that ensures easy maintenance.

1. Remove existing plate from the top of the hooded litter pan. Discard the plate or save for future use without the deodorizing dispenser installed.7ghg
2. The rounded edge of the deodorizing dispenser faces the back; the squared edge faces the filter area. Install deodorizing dispenser by snapping tabs under edge or opening on one side. Reach under unit and slight bow edge of opposite side of opening, allowing tabs on opposite side to "snap" in place. Note: You will know the unit is properly installed when you cannot see the tabs and you hear the snap.

Adding Deodorizer

1. Gently lift off lid.
2. IMPORTANT: Check spinning wheel inside of unit and make sure holes are not visible. If holes are visible, spin wheel until holes are NOT visible.
3. Add your favorite deodorizing powder or crystals by pouring into spinning wheel. Fill to approximately 1/2" deep. Do not over fill or allow deodorizer to spill over top of dispenser.
4. Replace cover by lining up keyed lid with recessed edges along spinning wheel. Do not force lid in place. If edges are not properly aligned, the lid will not spin.

1. To dispense deodorizer, spin lid (clockwise or counterclockwise) from one arrow to next arrow, 1/4 turn. You may elect to dispense more deodorizer. One full turn may be needed, especially if you have multiple cats. Note: Always stop by aligning arrow on lid with arrows on dispenser.
