Rated 5 out of 5 by 2121 Thundershirt for cats
Some cats and dogs when going to the vet get scared. Well I have a cat that if I need to take him to the vet he gets scared and he puts his self into a granpal seizure everytime. I bought the thundershirt for my cat to calm him. I have not taken him to the vet yet using the thundershirt but I have been trying it on him in the house and he seems really relaxed with it on. Like I said I haven t taken him to the vet yet with it on but I sure it going to help.

Got this for my daughter's cat who travels with her 3 hours to come see us. The cat generally gets car sick, drools, etc. and other calming remedies have not worked. Thundershirt on and cat slept the entire trip!! Has also used it to clip her nails. Worth every penny!!

by carlyne I was amazed how quiet this made my male cat
I tried the ThunderShirt and loved it. The only constructive criticism
I would have is that the knit material on the outside makes it easy for the back claws to tear it when he scratches. I have only had it for a while and it already has been patched, because of the holes.
My cat is an obsessive/compulsive licker and scratcher and this is the first thing that has quieted him down. We have tried everything else and nothing has work as well as this.
I love this product!

The cat I bought this for was not happy when I put it on her, and after I took if off, she still ran from me every time I got near her, fearful I would put it on her again.
I put it on another of my cats, just to see how she would react, and she loved it immediately. She just sat on the bed and purred. Then she wandered around and cozied up in a closet. When I tried to take it off of her an hour later, she didn't want me to.
Both of these cats are what I would call "nervous" cats, always looking over their shoulders.
