LuXcore digital electronic ballasts are the modern reef keeper's most advanced, energy-efficient solution for driving a custom metal halide aquarium light system.
With 4 different power settings per ballast, UL-approved LuXcore Selectable Watt Ballasts give you the luxury of switching between lamp wattage and drive modes such as the HQI and Overdrive settings. LuXcore Selectable Watt Ballasts also start up quickly and generate more lumens per watt while using less electricity than standard magnetic ballasts. LuXcore Selectable Watt Ballasts also include a female receptacle compatible with Smart Volt cords found on Reef Optix and LumenMax metal halide reflectors. LuXcore Selectable Watt Ballasts also include an adapter that allows universal use for hard-wiring to any metal halide lamp.
Small, compact, and completely silent LuXcore Selectable Watt Ballasts feature a resettable circuit breaker and a tough anodized extruded aluminum body. LuXcore Selectable Watt Ballasts run all mogul and double-ended metal halide lamps with very little heat emission.
