Kong Dental Dog Toys

Kong Dental Toys feature special grooves that clean teeth and massage gums as dogs chew. These toys feature Kong's classic rubber, which is firm yet flexible under pressure to provide excellent support for strong gums. The hollow center (except on Kong Dental with Rope) is perfect for holding Kong Treats, small kibble, or even dog toothpaste. As your dog tries to figure out how to remove the treats or paste, he gets a stimulating mental challenge, along with healthy play, in addition to the dental benefits. Kong Dental toys are non-splintering and non-abrasive.

Kong Dental with Rope can also be used as a fetch toy for dogs that love to be "on the chase." Dogs love to roll it, drop it, shake it by the cotton rope, and bring it to you on command. The cotton fibers help clean teeth as your dog chews.

No dog toy is indestructible, so always supervise your dog's use of a Kong toy. Regular use of a Kong by your dog will increase jaw strength, so you may eventually need to provide a larger size red Kong or a black Extreme Kong. Frequently inspect the clean toy under a bright light. Look for damage (such as missing pieces, cracks, separations). Flex the toy and inspect it from different angles. Loose pieces larger than a food nugget can be harmful if swallowed. Worn or damaged Kongs must be replaced promptly to maintain safe play for your dog. If you think your dog has swallowed a toy fragment, notify your veterinarian. Dishwasher safe.
