Toklat Originals Microsuede Bareback Pad

Toklat's bareback pad keeps both you and your horse more comfortable when hitting the trail saddle-less. These pads are also an economical and easy way to introduce horses to wearing a girth, as they don't have to be worn as tight as a saddle girth. Pad features an ultra-soft microsuede top that looks great, wears durably, and provides a non-slip seat base. The pad also features a felt filler to wick away moisture and support breathability, plus a fleece bottom to provide some additional shock absorption. Includes a removable, fleece-covered girth that adjusts on both sides.

Why Use a Bareback Pad?
A bareback pad gives you more security and balance than riding without one. It is ideal for introducing young horses to wearing a girth, as it doesn't need to be as tight as a saddle girth. Bareback pads are also lighter, so they are easy to carry to the horse. They also provide enough padding to ease your seat bones, to keep your horse comfortable, and to keep you clean. A bareback pad will fit most horses, but a very high withered horse may need a treeless saddle pad underneath (has a channel down the centre) to provide relief for the backbone.
