Exo Terra Compact Top Terrarium Canopy

The Exo Terra Compact Top Canopy is a compact fluorescent terrarium canopy designed for use with the Exo Terra Glass Terrarium. This easy-to-install canopy accommodates up to four (4) compact fluorescent bulbs (max 26 W) or low-wattage incandescent bulbs (max 25 W), sold separately. Use a combination of different Exo Terra Repti Glo compact fluorescent bulbs to create the ideal ultraviolet/visual light ratio or a combination with an incandescent light source to increase the ambient air temperature.

Large Exo Terra Compact Top Terrarium Canopy features a built-in reflector and measures 36" x 3.5" x 7.75" high. Large Canopy Top fits the Large, 36" Exo Terra Natural Terrariums as well as the Large, 36" Exo Terra Low Profile Glass Terrarium .

Optional accessories such as the Exo Terra Digital Thermometer and Hygrometer can be slid into the special sliding rim on the top of the canopy.

1. Screw Exo Terra compact fluorescent or incandescent light bulbs (sold separately) into the threaded fittings on the underside of the canopy. Follow maximum wattage guidelines.
2. Verify that the light bulbs are correctly installed in the threaded fittings. Carefully place the canopy on the terrarium rim with the light bulbs facing downward.
3. Do not place objects on the top of the canopy, except in the special sliding rim designed for this purpose. The ventilation slots on top of the canopy allow heat to escape, do not obstruct these vents in any way and ensure that any dust or debris is promptly removed.
4. Plug in canopy. Use canopy switch to turn lighting on or off.

1. The canopy is not waterproof. Do not expose the canopy to water spray or humidity. DO NOT SUBMERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
2. Ensure that the heat vents on top of the canopy are kept fee and clear of any obstruction, dust and debris. Use a cloth to wipe away any debris that may obstruct the heat vents.
3. No special maintenance is required for the Exo Terra Compact Top Terrarium Canopy, other than periodic cleansing with a cloth (never use harsh chemical products or detergents). To remove calcareous deposits (bulb sockets), it is recommended to use a mile acid such as vinegar, followed by a thorough wipe down with a damp cloth to remove any residues.
