Outward Hound Dog Backpack XLarge Color: Green
Dogs LOVE having a job, and this gives them a great one!
I recently adopted a second dog, a Beagle, who is significantly younger than the dog I already had. They are both well-behaved on walks, but my new guy wanted and needed a bit more of a challenge than my older pup - this provides exactly that, and it is super convenient for me, as well! He can carry our water bottles when we jog during the summer; he can carry a pretty heavy load (comfortably and safely, thanks to the way this pack is designed!) to keep him focused when we go on a short, slow walk.
And as a bonus, since I live in the middle of tornado alley, during severe weather season, I keep this packed with the dogs' emergency evacuation supplies #food, water, contact info, and a little first aid#, just in case we have to evacuate to a tornado shelter - we are ready at a moment's notice!
I have not had any problems that some other buyers seem to have had, regarding getting the pack on over his head. Yes, you do have to pass the dog's head through the straps, and the pack does go right over his head. However, I think that if you take the time to make that experience a positive one from the first time, you shouldn't have any problems.
I would, and already have recommended it to several friends!

Definately Great Product
I bought 2 of these, the first one to try for a newly adopted deaf dane (I have 3 danes) to keep her focused on walks, it worked so well that I bought another one for my middle child since he constantly pulls during walks on his leash (not terrible but enough). It has worked fabulously for 2 of mine in reducing walking issues. The chart sizes the extra large up to 90 lbs but they are 110 and 115 respectfully and they still fit and work well and also have extra left over in the straps. They are durable and well made, one of the best purchases I have made (have tried gentle leaders, prong collars, you name it). When wearing the backpacks they have a "job" so it refocuses their attention and walking all 3 at the same time is no problem anymore! FYI: most dogs do not like when you come at them and place something over their heads but I found that with my deaf one, if I cover her eyes up she will cooperate with having it put on her.

Ryleigh enjoyed wearing her backpack while we go on our trail walks/runs. It nice for her to have a "job" to carry her water and snack.

Fun & Work combined
My son wanted this for his beagle and has been having lots of fun walking him with a couple of small water bottles and some treats in it. He walks the dog and takes frequent "treat" breaks with the dog. This product is great for carrying a few items and giving your high energy dog a workout. Our dog looks like he feels proud to have a "job" to do. :)
