Harrison's Adult Lifetime Fine Bird Food 1 lb
Harrison's Lifetime fine for my lovebird was first highly recommended by my aviary vet as the main diet with a small amount of Goldenfeast supplements. I listened and it turned out to a very good choice. In fact Harrisons is the only dry food my love bird will eat and she eats a lot of it. Everything has to be quite small for her to eat. She completed hand feeding at 4 1/2 weeks when I switched to Hi Potency fine and then regular fine after 6 months. I supplement with Goldenfeast Veggie Crisp Delite which contains BOTH fruit and veggies which I break up to small pieces. I crush the dried veggies with a pliers if too hard. Kaytee bird greens which is fine cut. Very small amount per my vet of Goldenfeast Hookbill Formula for seed. Too much seed can put fat around the heart. People food is fresh broccoli. unfrozen cooked peas and corn only when we eat supper, absolutely nothing else. She is put in the cage when we eat. Get fresh food out of the cage after a hour, bacteria. I do not let her eat on the table. Fresh water daily is mandatory. Huge cage with toys that you can lock door open as well as closed to drink and eat when wanted. Can not get in if door swings shut. Mine fly's around a good share or the time. My vet states she wished everybody would follow this diet.

When I changed my quaker parrot's diet to harrisons pellets& her feathers filled in and were notably more colorful/healthy. I used to feed her a variety of seeds, fruit & veg,s but I always concerned that she was getting enough vitamins. With the pellets I know that she is consuming all the vitamins & minerals she should have & it shows!

My bird loves these and they're healthy for him
My cockatiel was on an all seed diet when I got him and his vet recommended gradually switching him to a pelleted diet. He's been eating these Harrison pellets for 3 1/2 years now and loves them. I give him seeds once in a while as a treat but he prefers his pellets. I like it that these are organic, and I can buy several bags at once and freeze them. Drs Foster & Smith's delivery was fast!
