The Cobalt Fontana Professional Fountain Pump features a distinct low-profile design that provides a stable base for the included fountainheads*. Flow control valve on fountain stem allows precision control while 3-way diverter with flow control valve (Models 1200 and above) simplifies the installation of multiple water features. Heavy-duty impeller cuts through tough debris for long lasting, reliable use. Included prefilter sponge provides additional protection from debris. Thermal protected motor automatically shuts off to prevent overheating. Completely sealed for external or submersible pond use.

Installation
The pump is equipped with accessories to create different water jets. Furthermore, the pump can be connected to hard pipes or flexible hoses of various diameters for versatile installation of waterfalls and other water features. The telescopic tube is equipped with a valve that allows the water flow to be adjusted. A second outlet on the telescopic tube is also equipped with a flow control valve.

Maintenance
Fontana 800/1200: Remove the Impeller Chamber, take out the rotor and proceed with cleaning.

Fontana 2300/3000: Unfasten the screws, remove Impeller Chamber and take out the rotor and proceed with cleaning.

Fontana 4500/6000/8000: After having carefully positioned the pump on the Rear Cover, remove the screws. Keep the Impeller Disc attached to the pump motor unit, using one of the free Eye Bolts. Remove the Impeller Chamber by pushing the outlet pipe towards the work surface. Take out the rotor with the impeller and proceed with cleaning.

Replace all parts in reverse order. Reintroduce the Impeller Chamber in its seating, making sure that the Bushing is correctly on the bottom of the well. When reinserting the rotor, pay attention to its magnetic power in order to avoid any damage or injury to the fingers. Fontana 4500/6000/8000: Turn the Impeller Disc paying attention to the Reference Marks on the impeller and the motor body of the pump. Using the screws, secure the Impeller Chamber to the pump.
