Installation:
The Cascade pump can operate in or out of water. The pump is equipped with two multistage threaded hose connectors, which allow the pump to be connected to hard pipes or flexible hoses of various diameters.
Cascade 4500/6000/8000 pumps: The Impeller Chamber can be angled at 90 degrees in order to use the pump as required.
Maintenance:
Rotating parts need to be regularly accessed for cleaning. To this purpose, it is recommended to not use any chemical detergents.
Cascade 2300/3000: Follow the maintenance instructions. Unfasten the screws, remove the Impeller Chamber, and take out the rotor and proceed with cleaning.
Cascade 4500/6000: Follow the maintenance instructions. Unfasten the screws, remove the Impeller Chamber, and take out the rotor and proceed with cleaning.
Cascade 8000: Follow the maintenance instructions. After having carefully positioned the pump on the rear cover, remove the screws. Keep the impeller disc attached to the pump motor unit, using one of the free bolts. Remove the Impeller Chamber by pushing the outlet pipe towards the work surface. Take out the rotor with the impeller and proceed with cleaning.
Replace all parts in reverse order: Re-introduce the Impeller Chamber in its seating, ensuring that the bushing is positioned correctly on the bottom of the well. When re-inserting the rotor, pay attention to its magnetic power in order to avoid any damage and injury to the fingers.
Cascade 4500/6000/8000: Turn the impeller disk, paying attention to the reference marks on the impeller and on the motor body of the pump. Screw the Impeller Chamber back onto the pump, choosing the required position.
Cascade 8000: Place the Impeller Chamber making sure that the screw lodging is not next to the fastening eyelets. Rotate it clockwise until it stops and then insert the screws and screw to fasten it. |
