AWESOME COMB
Previous products: I bought a brush from a name brand pet store and all it did was pull my dog's hair out and leave behind the tangles. I bought the slicker brush (fancy handle with the metal wire teeth) which didn't pull out excessive hair and did remove the tangles, but was scrapping, cutting or putting pin hole marks on his skin and the wire teeth were falling out. These went into the trash when this comb arrived and was put to the test.
This comb: This is the BEST grooming supply for brushing/combing I've ever purchased. I bought the 8" comb because it has two teeth size wide and narrow. I have two dogs and one has thick bichon type fur and needs the wide teeth, and the other dog has silky wiry hair for the narrow teeth. It will be the ONLY thing you need for your dogs fur. It GENTLY detangles the entire body and gets the difficult places like the face, arm pits, groin, neck and ears! This comb can be used on wet fur or dry fur and is great to detangle while blow-drying fur. Now my dogs actually come when I call them to be combed and sit still the entire time. Hallelujah! Have no doubts, throw away all your old brushes and combs and buy this one! My sister bought the 5" comb for her 17 year old shitzu/poodle mix who HATES to be brushed/combed and her skin easily tears and develops soars and this dog sits to be combed now!

Great Comb!
This is a really great product. I have a new miniature schnauzer puppy who was already getting very tangled in the underside before purchasing this comb. She was also developing a very "negative attitude" about being brushed or combed. But after purchasing this comb, I've gotten her matts under control and now with just a quick swipe through her beautiful fur, we keep future matts at bay. I love this comb!

Handy for quick detangling.
The rotation of the comb's teeth leads to the ease of use and quick detangling of hardened knots! My Sheltie, with her thick undercoat keeps her coat glowing and it remains smooth and tangle free with the comb's regular use.
