Effectively lower and maintain desired aquarium water temperature simply by pressing the "Up" or "Down" arrow. Coralife Aquarium Chillers are designed for simple installation and maintenance. Adjustable inlet and outlet connections can be rotated for greater plumbing convenience. Included air filter keeps contaminants away from the cooling unit to ensure efficient and long lasting motor performance. Reusable air filter is easily accessible and can be removed for cleaning. Corrosion-resistant titanium heat exchangers ensure dependable performance even around harsh aquarium conditions. Features highly visible LED display for clear temperature readouts.

Coralife Aquarium Chillers offers a reliable way to maintain stable aquarium water temperature in systems employing metal halide lighting and other equipment that run hot. Great for coral reef aquariums and setups housing inhabitants sensitive to high water temperatures.

Contains safe ozone-friendly refrigerant (R-134A) and arrives factory preset at 76°F. Operating temperature range of 39 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. 1/10, 1/4 and 1/6 HP Chillers feature a plug-in for automated control of a submersible heater rated up to 600 watts (not included). Requires appropriately sized water pump and tubing (sold separately).

• For best results, place the chiller in a location best suited to support the total weight of the chiller.
• Always place the chiller in a flat and level area.
• Keep chiller in a well-ventilated area and away from a heating or cooling vent.
• Make sure there is at least 12" of space in front and back of the chiller for proper air circulation.
• Do not place near electronic components and systems (i.e. TV, Stereo systems, etc...).
• Make sure that the chiller is not exposed to outdoor elements or weather.
• Filter the aquarium water before it passes through the chiller to reduce organic deposit and buildup in the chiller.
• Chiller connections should be placed after all filter media.

Troubleshooting Guide

There's no power to the unit.

• The plug is not connected to the power supply.
• The fuse has blown (for 1/10, 1/6, and 1/4 HP models only).

Power is on but the chiller does not turn on.

• The compressor requires a 3-minute delay between cycles. This is to prevent short cycling of the compressor motor.
• The actual water temperature is already at or lower than the set point temperature. Adjust temperature setting to raise or lower the set point temperature.

Water is leaking from the chiller.

• Compression gasket cap is not on tightly.
• Flexible tubing is not attached correctly. Check tubing connections and tighten hose-clamp onto flexible tubing.
