This little diffuser has received some bad reviews on other websites that sell them.I was in need of a diffuser and figured I'd give it a try anyway. After getting it hooked up and the CO2 turned on it started letting out a fine mist of bubbles then some larger ones came out and I figured the reviews must have been right but I let it run anyway, when I checked on it in the evening at feeding time it was not letting off any large bubbles at all just a nice mist of CO2.I checked on the manufacturers website and they say that it may take up to 24 hrs. for the gasket to absorb water and seal itself.I guess all the bad reviews about it leaking did not give it a chance and threw it away,I think it does what it is supposed to do and I'm happy with how it works and would recommend giving it a fair chance.

I have a co2 tank set up which uses a needle valve to control airflow. Ceramic diffusers tend to clog and are impossible to clean from edge to edge without destroying the cement around the edge. I'm hoping this one will be easy to clean since the ceramic disc is removable. I was a little concerned when it was first fired up, as large bubbles were escaping around the gasket. In a few days the gasket seated and a light stream of tiny bubbles continued. I like this design but time will tell.

Saw some bad reviews but the price was right so I gave it a try. Works incredibly well. Had it running for some time now, no problems. Best diffuser I have used.

The diffuser was easy to install and was working fine for two days. Then the bubbles started to come out through the threads instead of the top. I tried cleaning the top but that didn't help.
I am using this diffuser as both a diffuser and bubble counter.
