Awesome Product
I used it as specified and my tank has never been cleaner. Had high phosphate and nitrate and its starting to come down. Highly recommended.

Great stuff!
Dr. Tim's products always work! He does extensive research on all his products and they are NOT snake oil. This specific bottles holds different types of probiotic bacteria that will use the nutrients in your tank (phosphate, nitrate) and will eventually (or hopefully) get skimmed out by your skimmer. Thus, it fights unwanted algae. I recommend dosing a quarter or half of the listed dosage. Do not dose too much as if you do, your tank will get cloudy because there is too much bacteria, which can cause low oxygen levels in your tank. As long as you stay within the recommended dosages and start slow, you should have no issues and see reduction of all types of unwanted algae in about two weeks.

Long Term Product
This product is the other side of carbon dosing. It is dosing the bacteria instead of the carbon. It is a long term treatment and not something that will give instant results.
I already had very little Nitrate and so mine disappeared within a few weeks of using this product. A good skimmer is required or the product will not work in the long term.

I know it works but to what extent?
I bought this product after seeing it featured in a vblog. It is one item of many I use weekly a. I can say for sure it will solve all the problems but I'm keeping it in the mix as my algae problems seem to be under control. The only way to know for sure is to stop using it which I'm not ready to do at this point.
