Visually striking aquarium feature
I love volcanoes. This decoration caught my eye on the website. It was smaller than I thought it would be when I got it in the mail. Not to worry, I used it for the back of my 125 gallon tank to give a depth of field. I bought the red light variety. The red light shows through the body of the volcano as if the hot lava was pouring out. The miro-bubbler sends a cascade of "red lava" bursting upward. Great visual effect that gets compliments.
If I could change anything about it that would be an identical design about twice the size for large tanks. That if why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.

Easy set up
Needless to say, I was not happy when my 3yr old daughter decided my 90 gallon planted tank needed a volcano, but she is the boss. I was not looking forward to running lines and air tubes through 100lbs of rock and a ten year old tangle of various anubius roots, but the fact that this does not need an external air pump makes set up as pain free as possible.

Great! But not for sensitive ears
I was very enthusiastic about this product ever since I stumbled upon it. Setting up was a bit more lengthy than I expected [I thought it would be ready right out of the box, but no big deal there.] After I had assembled it, made sure everything worked, and set it up, I was amazed at the authenticity! It looks like it is really erupting!
The only downside to this product is that the air intake on the motor seems to not be regular and the fluctuations make a loud noise. However it is overall great, but a bit noisy!

A great addition to the aquarium
This product took a little while to assemble, for somebody who wasn't exactly sure how to use it. The only real issue with this product is the light post stands a little bit tall, while the decoration itself is shorter. Which means you have to dig a hole in the substrate, to fit it in to make it look good. Overall, with a nice air pump, it works really well. It produces big bubbles, and the lighting is great. My fish love to play with the bubbles, and it looks fantastic in the aquarium.
