Exactly as advertised.
Good quality, sturdy, not unattractive (it is afterall cat furnitiure!). Both cats love it; they use it to scratch and lounge. This is much better quality than you see in the pet stores.

Cats love this for stetching and clawing
This is the best cat scratcher I have ever had . I just got a 2nd one for the bedroom. My cats have not put a claw into the furniture since they were given this model of scratcher. The reason is that it's slanted and does not move when they use it.The size is perfect, and it fits into most spaces without being bulky..I saw this model at a pet store and the cost was $20 higher! If you are having issues with your cat ruining your funiture buy one of these today.

This is a good product
I have two cats and it took them a few days to pay attention to the new scratching post. Now they are both enjoying it. One scratches on it and the other sleeps on top of it. Before I ordered it I looked in my pet store and nothing there compared in design or price.

A nice bed + Scratching Post.
Our cats have taken to both sleeping on the top and scratching their new toy pretty fast, they like it ! The only problem is when one is sleeping on top and another decides it is scratching time ;)
