OceanStream's innovative PaddleDisc impeller diverts water to the perimeter of the housing. This broadens and diffuses the stream without compromising flow rate. The result is a wide, circular current that ensures maximum random flow. Combined with its 360-degree articulating pivot ball and powerful magnetic holder, directing water movement to even the hardest to reach dead zones is easy. Experience better nutrient delivery, oxygenation, and waste export, the three keys to healthy reef water movement.

Choose from 500 GPH for nano aquariums up to 30 gallons, or 1600 GPH for aquariums up to 100 gallons. Ideal for fresh or saltwater aquariums with up to 1/2" thick walls.

Water Movement TIP
Setting multiple powerheads can simulate natural currents while eliminating dead spots in aquariums. Positioning pumps lower/higher can also allow for more natural wave cycles by producing counter currents. It is important to research what flow rates are required for specific tank mates before replicating its' environments.

Cleaning (every other month)
It is important to keep this appliance clean. Always unplug the appliance before performing maintenance or cleaning of the exterior of this pump. Wipe exposed surfaces carefully with a damp terrycloth to remove any dust or mineral deposits which may collect over time. Make sure hands are completely dry before re-plugging into an electrical outlet.
