Directions
Check coral specimen for any egg clutches normally found on the underside of the coral. Remove any and all egg clutches before bathing coral specimen. It is also advised to remove any desirable symbiotic crabs that live in some Acropora coral colonies before bathing coral specimen.
In an acclimation vessel, add 5 cups (1182.94 ml) of aquarium water and then add 5 ml of Coral Dip Solution. Make sure that the solution is mixed completely with the aquarium water before bathing coral specimen. Place your coral specimen in the acclimation vessel for approximately 15 to 30 minutes. During the treatment you should witness undesirable organisms falling off of the coral, or you may also use the supplied pipette to baste coral during bath. Once the coral specimen has completed its bath, rinse with untreated aquarium water before introducing coral specimen into quarantine tank or the aquarium. After treatment is completed, be sure to discard bath water and rinse acclimation vessel thoroughly.
