Benefits
Critter Be Better Formula is a ground formulation of American Pet Diner Complete Pellet Ration, a Timothy Hay based pellet ration and a superior mix of direct fed microbials to improve the microflora and digestion system in your herbivore (rabbit, guinea pig, chinchilla, prairie dog, reptile or other rodents). This formula is intended for temporary use of an ill animal (reasons below in "Reasons to Feed"); or an animal unable to chew or eat normal feeds; or monthly, use 2 to 4 days per month to bring microflora back into balance.
Reasons to Feed
Intended for temporary or occasional use for:
- Post-surgical animals
- Stressed animals
- Sick animals
- Animals that lack appetite
- Animals that have eating problems, lack of ability to chew and/or swallow
- Animals with diarrhea
- Animals with light or minor respiratory problems
- Underweight animals
- Animals that benefit from microflora added back into their system
- Getting animals to eat, digest and defecate normally

Ways to Feed
Powder
Syringe Feed (Very Liquid Form)
Mix with water*/juice** and feed through a syringe. Mix with liquid until formula will pass through a syringe approximately 4:1 ratio liquid to powder formula.
Offer in Food Bowl (Mush or Paste Form)
For a consistency of mashed potatoes, mix approximately 3:1 ratio water/juice to powder formula.
To form into semi thick paste balls, mix approximately 2:1 ratio water/juice to powder formula.
Top Dress
Sprinkle or mix on a food your pet is accustomed to eating such as mashed bananas, canned pumpkin, canned baby food, or other mashed or puréed food.
*Use water that has been at a full boil for 5 minutes and then allowed to cool to a temperature between 70 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
**Use juice such as apple or cranberry mix that your pet is used to.
Be sure to refrigerate any formula that you have added moisture to. Use within 48 hours, then discard any unused formula. Good to only make up what you are going to use for the day's feedings.
Pellets
Feed as a replacement of regular feed.

Mix 1/4 Critter Be Better Probiotic Feed Pellets with 3/4 regular feed.
Monthly Maintenance
Feed, mix 1/4 Critter Be Better Probiotic Feed Pellets with 3/4 regular feed, three days each month.
