Rated 5 out of 5 by jstib great product
this product is excellent at keeping the squirrels off my bird feeder, I had some sad looking squirrels for a while until they finally gave up. Unfortunately, it doesn't do much to keep the raccoons off, but all in all, a great product. Easy to put together in a short amount of time.

Installed this in early Jan. 2015. So far, it has prevented all the squirrels from attacking the feeders, platform and hanging. although squirrels have made many attempts, they have so far been content to sit on the ground and watch for falling seeds from the feeders. We did move the squirrel feeders some distance away. Have tried many baffles, but this is the only one that has worked for this long. Yes, I'm a happy customer.

Finally, a squirrel deterrent that actually works. Brilliantly engineered, and durably made. It is also reasonably unobtrusive in it's appearance. I have only had it out for about a week, so my positive comments on it's effectiveness might be a bit premature. But so far, the only "customers" to my pole mounted bird feeder have been birds. At last I can feed my feathered friends without feeding dozens and dozens of squirrels and chipmunks, too. A great product!

This baffle is pretty awesome. It’s very easy to put together and looks better than other styles I’ve seen though it’s not perfect. After having been in place for several days I noticed a small red squirrel sitting on top of the dome which is about five inches below the squirrel resistant feeder. He was able to get to the feeder by jumping from the tree that’s only three feet away (I’m not cutting down my tree) and was sitting on top of the baffle dome stealing seeds to his heart’s content!
I ended up removing the dome portion of the baffle. That said, those darn rodents can now simply climb the pole to get to the feeder so I had to place something on top of the bracket that holds the baffle to the pole; it sits only two or three inches down. I rigged up a temporary insert; will put a piece of screen inside in the spring and haven’t seen another squirrel since. That may simply be that I’ve been looking at the wrong time.
This is a good looking product, even without the dome and I think it’ll keep the squirrels challenged for ways to get to the seeds. I don’t think there will be a winner in this war between the squirrels and myself but now they have to really work for ways to get to the feeder and that’s entertaining itself.
