Works great for mice.
I'm using the 10 oz with a mother mouse, and her litter of 3.5 week olds. I sat there with them for a bit, and tilted the rod to one side, so they could see that was how it's done. Everyone is drinking fine, and I'm very please with the construction of the valve. The kids are kind of using their 'elbows' to push it, but mom has no issues.
Would really prefer it in glass, and smaller capacity (like 4-8 oz), but it is the best waterer, so far. Much cleaner system, than a ball that gets licked, and rolls back into the water source. Strong, and quality, spring. All this and it doesn't leak, either! Definitely would recommend it.

Worth Every Cent
These bottles are fantastic. Have to show the fuzzies how to use them, and just jiggle the pin inside to get the water flowing, but other than that fantastic!!
Used happily by Chinchillas, Rats and Degu

Love these bottles.
I bought two of these bottles for my 4 guinea pigs... I love them. They really don't leak. And after a bottle that leaked forever after refilling, I love that my daughter can help fill these bottles, and we don't have to take them off the cage.
I thought we would have problems with them learning how to use the new style of dropper. It doesn't take much to make the water come out. Just move the little thing in the middle and it comes out. My young cavies learned very fast how to use this bottle.... LOVE IT!

NO LEAKY PLUMBMING HERE!!!
It's actually a pleasure to buy a product that actually does what the description claims!! Over the years I have used many different water bottles only to end up REALLY mad because they ALL ended up leaking!! That leads to less than ideal conditions for your pet. I bought this figuring well it's one that I haven't tried yet. I will never have to purchase any other as this one is AWESOME!!! It's very easy to add water without having to remove bottle. Thanks for having this A++++ product which has ended all the misery for me and my critter!!!
