Sweet Potato Dog Biscuits 2 lb Bag Size: Bite Size 4.7 5 28 28

Very Nice Biscuits ! We bought a box of these bite size sweet potato treats as training rewards when we rescued two young, sister labradoodles from a shelter three years ago. The pups still love them, we buy a 20 pound box about every 6 weeks, split each biscuit in half, and carry them as rewards wherever we go. The security guards at a check points always give us a knowing smile when we put dog biscuits in the tray to go around the screener. March 17, 2013

perfect size! Three of my dogs will eat anything even vaguely food-like (lip balm, cough drops, etc.) But my elderly Jack Russell has a discerning palate and has always been more interested in work than eating. The Natural Sweet potato flavor biscuit have no wheat gluten. It uses barley, potato and brown rice flour. I have a gluten allergic Golden and he has had no problems with these biscuits.

They are not grain free. They are made with barley flour and oat groats, however they are corn and wheat free. Barley and oats are usually much less offending when it comes to allergies though. Great for dogs that have corn or wheat sensitivities, which are much more common. I've not heard of too many dogs that are allergic to barley or oats. Also, barley and oats are much easier digested, therefore less likely to cause upset tummy or good for those with sensitive stomachs. Hope this helps. : )
