Directions for Use
Shake thoroughly prior to use. Remove any carbon and/or zeolite from filters. Keep biological filters operational.
Dosage
Add 1ml of Microbe-Lift Artemiss per five gallons daily for ten days OR add 1 teaspoon per 25 gallons daily for ten days. In severe cases, a longer treatment period may be required until visible results are achieved.
Dosage (for New Introduction)
When adding new fish to a quarantine tank or aquarium, alternate adding Microbe-Lift Herbtana and Microbe-Lift Artemiss at the standard dosage, 12 hours apart until two doses of each product have been added. This will act as an immune system stimulant and destressant.
Microbe-Lift Artemiss is safe for all aquatic life. It is a great aide to use when acclimating fish to a new environment. Microbe-Lift Artemiss has a shelf life of two years provided it is kept at room temperature and stored in its original bottle. Do not allow to freeze.
General Information
Microbe-Lift Artemiss is a unique, herbal, immune-enhancing stimulant which reduces bacterial and fungal infections in fish showing symptoms such as: Fin and tail rot, ulcers, bulging eyes (exophthalmia), milky skin, raised scales, mouth rot/fungus and dropsy (ascites). Microbe-Lift Artemiss will help boost the immune system of the fish with no risk of building up future resistance as can occur when antibiotic sare used.
Microbe-Lift Artemiss will help to drive pathogenic bacteria off the fish and, without a host, ultimately result in the death of the bacteria. Microbe-Lift Artemiss is effective at reducing bacterial infections as well as ulcers and wounds that often occur on goldfish and koi. Regular antibiotics may kill non-resistant bacteria but will not heal ulcers and will leave an open wound or ulcers sensitive to re-infection. Even with deep ulcers (and in a surprisingly short time span), Microbe-Lift Artemiss additionally stimulates and accelerates regeneration of damaged tissue until no trace of the wound remains. Therefore, even if an antibiotic treatment is used, you should also use Microbe-Lift Artemiss to minimize reinfection.

Note: In most cases, aquarium fish diseases are caused by poor living conditions such as overcrowding, poor water quality or an improper biotope. To prevent reoccurrence, examine the underlying cause of the problem. Quarantine new fish for at least four weeks. A single dose of Artemiss will help the fish quickly acclimate to its new environment.
When the water quality is poor, the immune system of the fish cannot be enhanced by Microbe-Lift Herbtana or Microbe-Lift Artemiss. Ammonia and nitrite should not be above 0.4ppm and the pH must be on a level suitable for the particular species of fish.

Remove any activated carbon in your system as carbon will filter out the natural expellants.

During treatment with these products, your fish can be fed normally and filtration can remain in normal operation to aid in the well-being and recovery of your fish. Although using a quarantine tank will always be safer and more economical, Microbe-Lift Herbtana and Microbe-Lift Artemiss can be safely used in community tanks.
