AquaticLife Deluxe System RO Replacement 1 Micron Pre-Filter Cartridge
Super simple to install and did great at making good clean water for me, inlet pressure was 50 psi and I made 35 gallons in about 8 hours.

I bought the 100 gpd Deluxe unit. This unit takes a complicated process and simplifies it into a 4 cartridge set up. It also simplifies the cartridge replacement process by routing the water through the bottom of the cartridge chambers, eliminating any water spillage when changing the cartridges. Unscrew the cap, pull out the old, drop in the new, screw the cap back on, that's it. Check your city delivered water pressure to insure optimum performance. If your pressure is low, get the powered unit.

Neat. Tubes, filters, fittings hidden.
This is my first RO/DI for the aquarium. I got the 100GPD which in my case only produces 80GPD which is about a gallon every 18 minutes. The TDS is 12. My pH at the tap is about 8.4 and when it comes out from this RO/DI unit is 6.8. KH and GH are 0 ppm. I like this unit because the individual filters, connections, and fittings are all hidden in a a nice plastic box. I had to add a piece of 2-inch 1/8 aluminum bar at the base to counteract the tendency to fall on its back. I also had to add valves for the input yellow, output blue and waste red tubes and close them after use, otherwise, water will continue to leak out (even if you disconnect the unit from the water tap). I just ordered a chlorine/chloramine test kit to check what they are. I don't know what more expensive units do but, for a FW aquarium, 12 TDS, 6.8 pH, zero KH and zero GH and 80GPD is good enough for me.
