Love this stuff
It works for my tank.Took it a little while after the cycle to get them all the way down but now they stay at 0 .I use it once a week with no Nitrates.

Worked for me
While this is not an instant solution, if you can wait a few weeks it works great. My nitrates were about 80 because I set up my tank with tap water that had high nitrates (newbie mistake - always test tap water first!). After I made several 50% water changes and it only went down to 40 ppm and I thought its easier to try this stuff than spend time and money doing more large water changes. I used the double dose (10 full capfuls for my 55-gal tank once a week) for three weeks and a single dose (5 capfuls) the fourth time. After two weeks it was around 10-20. Now it's at 0 about a month after I started. I will keep monitoring but it says you don't need to use it again after you get a 0 reading.

does what it says
I have a 125 gallon mixed reef with 250 lbs of live rock in the main and sump. and a 6 inch deep sand bed .Tank has been running about 4 years and I always had a problem with nitrates between 10-40 ppm. API TEST . I use ro. di- water carbon and gfo. water changes twice a month and still have had a problem with nitrate levels. I took a chance and tried instant ocean natural nitrate reducer, I did a double dose ,and directions state it can take a few weeks to reach desired levels. It took my tank about a month to reach 0 nitrates. Its been 5 months since I first used this product and I still have 0 nitrate level, this time tested with Salifert no3 test kit. my friends have also try this product with success. I am so happy with the results thank you.

great product
It took about a month before I had no nitrates in my tank. But once my reading was 0 it has stayed that was. great product just not an instant change.
