This is the best pet bedding around. I have been using it for 4 years in the guinea pig's cage. Does all it claims and more.
I have used the Ultra bedding for about four years now. It is expensive, however, it is so safe, soft and able to cut the odors. I pull soiled litter out of the cage every morning and night to avoid major cleaning each week. I can extend cleaning to every other week this way. My rabbit, Sophia, seems to like the feel of it on her feet. I have used the tan colored choice and it seems a bit stiffer, but am interested in the confetti to see if it is a combination so may try that. Overall, it is an excellent product with no pine bedding problems.
I started using this bedding a few months ago after years of using the Aspen bedding, and it's great. It NEVER smells from the urine and absorbs way better than my old bedding. I use the confetti and it's so soft; (even though I have a wire-bottom cage that I keep mats on to prevent hock sores). When I change my bun's cage, he likes to run through the bedding before I slide the bottom in. This product is a little more expensive, but I think it's worth every penny.
I love the Carefresh Ultra while it is the most expensive thing they offer it's worth the money. It's the fluffiest, most absorbent bedding so I use less of it, do not have to change the bedding as often as I did with the natural, and the colored stuff ended up coloring my white guinea....yeah....the Ultra is the best!!
Whether your small pet prefers burrowing deep into bedding, holing up inside a hutch, or taking cover in a large toy, he hides for security and solace.
