I've had 10 Red Cherry Shrimp (RCS) for about 1 month now - They are easy to care for but in a tank with lighter substrate they tend to have a little paler coloring. I've fed them hikari crab meal, and other fish food I have laying around and they take to everything right away, but the color and activity seems to intensify with this food after 1 week. The baby shrimp do not take to this food as readily, but dropping it in the tank the adults seek it out. Definitely seem to molt more and are more active.

As great as always from hikari. Works great since I have a few different types of shrimp an some mix species. And they all seem to love it. Hikari so far has made my aquarium inhabitants very happy in this setup as well as any of the others I've had over the years. And foster and smith has been the best place to get it from as far as I have found.

This is the only available shrimp food I could find, and the shrimp will eat it right up. They are always busy scavenging the tank for food, so if you give it to them, they will eat it. I've found that I don't need to give them much of this, as they find food elsewhere in the tank, on rocks, plants and the substrate. I feel that this food provides them with extra nutrients, they wouldn't otherwise receive. I picture them as vitamin pills for shrimp.

I was able to make a automatic feeder use these. The shrimp look good and no problems.
Always check your copper levels. This has Copper Sulfate!! No problems from it but copper is known to hurt invertebrates. If you do not do water changes enough this might cause an issue.
Make sure to not over feed your shrimp. They do not eat allot. They just don't stop eating!
This company makes great quality items. They believe the copper sulfate isn't an issue. It currently is the only mini shrimp pellet easy to find. The bigger sized brands incourage over feeding and do not contain a balance of nutrition needed by the shrimp.
