Installation and operation instructions
Attached the colored lens cover to the light (optional).
Place light(s) in desired location in the pond, outside the pond or in a fountain.
Place the transformer in a place where it will not sit in a puddle when it rains. Note: Do not submerge the transformer in water.
Do not use an extension cord.
Transformer: Connect to a GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected hooded flush type cover plate receptacle marked "wet locations while in use."
Secondary wiring between transformer and light is intended for shallow burial of less than 6 inches.
Do not touch the lamp at any time. Use a soft cloth. Oil from skin may damage lamp.
Use only 10 Watt (MR11) 12 V halogen bulbs.
Disconnect the transformer from electrical source.
Ensure the lamp has cooled before touching.
Remove the lens, push in and twist off the lamp-retaining ring in a counterclockwise direction.
Remove the lamp retaining ring and lens. Then remove the bulb from the light socket by firmly grasping the bulb and pulling straight out.
Insert new bulb.
Replace the lens and lamp-retaining ring onto the light base. Ensure the rubber O-ring seal is positioned properly between the lamp housing and lens.
Twist the plastic cove into position in a clockwise direction.
There is a built-in light sensor in the transformer. This light sensor is designed to turn on lights when it gets dark (nighttime) and turn off when there is light (daytime). Position light sensor away from home and garden lights since this light may cause the pond light not to turn on at night. For operation during daylight hours, cover the light sensor.
If the light does not illuminate, make sure the electrical outlet has power by testing another electrical appliance using the same socket. Cover light sensor with finger to see if it works.
If the light will not illuminate, follow instructions for Bulb Replacement.
