My Cats Love Sky Climber!
This is a great scratcher and so much more! My guys love to claw both portions, rub their faces on the sisal, and just hang out watching life from above. Be aware that once mounted on the wall the perch may need extra support underneath if your cat likes to play hard or is on the heavier side. I would recommend this to anyone who has a cat who likes to scratch.

Think it will be good!
I bought this for the shelter where I volunteer. It's not up yet as we are going to incorporate it with a series of shelves and runs that will allow the cats to climb and roam at a higher level. I can't imagine that they won't like it. Will let you know when the project is done. Delivery was fast, price was certainly reasonable and the unit is well made.

Disappointed
Sadly the sky climber is cheaply made. The platform is made of some kind of light weight thin board material (not wood) and is not strong enough to support even a 10lb cat due to the offset anchor point to the scratch pad. The end result is a platform that after a few uses is no longer parallel and is slowly bending towards the floor, sagging. Our cat enjoys it, but its budget basement build quality is a disappointment. I plan to replace the base with my own piece of carpet covered wood or just rebuild it from scratch.
The anchoring to the wall is secure and it is very easy to install. You must however, pay close attention to the hooks on the back of the unit as ours were not parallel and we needed to slightly offset the screws in the wall. Being the platform is now sagging tho, it wouldn't have made that much of a difference.
The scratch pad is your basic rough rope, same as you see on other perches. The rope looks to be pretty well secured thankfully, so a positive there. The top piece is composite wood laminated to try and look like quality but it fails as there are sunken screw points which are clearly visible. Why they didn't attach the scratch pad from underneath is beyond me. The base is covered with not carpet, but a thin, very cheap felt product I don't believe you could even find in a craft store.
Such a wonderful idea but poorly executed to try and get top dollar.
