This product is really nice. It is very sturdy and easy to use. I love that the gang valves clamp right to the tank.....No more loose gang valves. .....Very easy to control the air.
These are surprisingly good air valves. They clamp to the tank so they're always secure but still easily removed. The air inlet has a 90 degree "elbow" that keeps the airline hanging straight down instead of going into the side like others and causing the airline to kink at the nipple, blocking airflow. Quality plastic so it's good for fresh or salt applications. I'm very happy with this product.
Don't take the quality of your tap water for granted. If you draw your water from a well, nature may not be providing you the perfect balance. If you are using tap water from your municipal department, it likely includes minerals and additives.
Algae are prolific and opportunistic organisms that take advantage of aquarium systems that are out of balance. Water quality issues create ideal conditions for algae. This article explains how proper water quality helps control algae.
Coral propagation is a challenging and rewarding aspect of the reef aquarium hobby. It is also a great way to promote coral conservation. Learn more here.
Bubbles beautify your aquarium display, improve water quality, and make your aquarium more hospitable for inhabitants. With an air pump, airline tubing, an air check valve, and a touch of creativity, you can easily create a cascade of bubbles.
