No Fading
I have had mine for a little over a year now in a fresh water fish tank and have no fading problems. Shifts around a little so the gravel behind it comes out.

Over all, a decent product
When I ordered this, I really didnt know what to expect. I Have an African Cichlid only tank, and I needed something they wouldnt dig under and that would make my aquarium stand out. And this is just the cure. This product adds great demention to my aquarium, and I am quite impressed on how natural it looks. I definitely plan on getting more of these in the future. :)

Love the natural look in my aquarium
I recently purchased four(4) of the sand banks for my 55 gal. TALL tank.
I terraced two together to give the feeling of depth, and utilized one to hide my heater. They are packaged beautifully and safely. They just look GREAT!

Unique Item, Adds Depth to Tank
This is a really great little item. It adds interest and depth to a tank. However, it does end up fading. With a better paint job, this item would earn 5 stars easily. The biggest con I have, which would not be a problem in a live planted tank, is that it creates an area where the gravel really is just too deep. It makes it very easy for fish waste to accumulate if you don't do your proper water changes and stir up the gravel in that area.
