Cleaning
The bowls are easily cleaned in the dishwasher. Use a scrub brush to scrub away dried-on messes before washing. The legs can be washed with soap and water.

Tired of finding the food and water bowls all over the room? So were we until we found these feeders. I purchased the Bridgeport Elevated Feeder with Stoneware Bowls and I love it. I like the fact that I can adjust the legs on the feeder so that the height is perfect for my larger dog. The bowls are well made and very classy looking. This was a great buy and I highly recommend it.
I purchased the Bridgeport Elevated Feeder and Stoneware Bowls in the large size. My dog likes to paddle in the water bowl; this has now elimminated that problem. He is more comfortable eating at this height. I think he feels very special as he sits by his feeder. Looks nice and has cleaned up the dog eating area!
I purchased the single feeder. My Akita had problems reaching her bowl down on the floor. Now that I've elevated it, she eats with no problems. I like that the feeder height is adjustable. Very easy to set up. Well made. I choose to use my current stainless steel bowl instead and I'm happy that it fits in this feeder. The ceramic bowl is very nice but heavy. The only recommendation is if your dog wears a collar with tags to remove the collor off before feeding time. Otherwise the tags can get lodged between the bowl and feeder.
I just received my large Bridgeport Feeder in green and am very pleased with it. It is sturdy, quiet (bowls sit securely in their places and do not rattle like my previous stainless steel feeder), very attractive and modern looking. The fact it is adjustable is a bonus. I use it for two water bowls in the kitchen for my two dogs. I have just ordered another for their food, and one for my cat as well. The quality is excellent, and the sale price a great deal compared to the quality and appearance of what I saw in the large chain stores.
After seeing a friend's German Shepard eat with no mess, I just now ordered the large size for my Vizsla. Can't believe the price and for whatever it is worth, your dog will not have a gas problem.
