We used the last-generation version of these trimmers for our two cats, who were regularly clawing the upholstery. Although cutting cats' claws is only a little easier than herding them, these are the best answer we've ever found after trying two other types. Since the hole in the "guillotine" allows one to hook the claw securely and then squeeze to do the trim, one's other arm is available to hug the cat and hold the paw. This type of trimmer also makes it very easy to see the blood vessels in the claws so as to not trim too far up the claw. In sum - a great product! |
