Cleaning Instructions:
Remove bird toys, perches, cups, and grill from cage. Pull ouy tray and wash in soapy water. Rine thoroughly. Wash all wire surfaces and plastic base with a nontoxic bird cleaner (such as Pooop-Off #814003) or soap/water solution. Rinse and dry thoroughly before adding back cage accessories, tray, and your bird.

I got this cage for my Budgies. It is quite big - especially for this LOW price! The seed catcher contains a lot of the mess (as long as you don't hang up millet sprays or treat sticks - I always do because my guys enjoy them - but a little sweeping doesn't hurt!). I didn't put in the plastic perches. I got some of the natural branch perches, which I believe are much better for the birds). Great cage!
