Healthy Snax® Sweet Potato Dog Treats

Your dog will love the sweet, satisfying taste of these dehydrated sweet potatoes. These delicious, healthy dog treats are great for medium to large dogs, or easily break apart into smaller portions for small dogs. These meat-free dog treats are the perfect solution for vegan or vegetarian dog owners. Sweet potatoes are known for healthy beta-carotene. Treats are approximately 4-1/2". Fries are perfectly sized for any dog. Approximately 3/8" thick strips vary in length. Rings measure approximately 1/4" thick x 2-1/2" diameter. Disks measure approximately 1/4" thick x 1-1/4" diameter. Sold by weight; individual size and number per jar varies.

Suggested daily serving for dogs: Feed one piece a few times daily as a treat. As with any treat, always offer fresh water after feeding.

I tried these treats because I wanted my dogs to have a low fat, grain free alternative for snacks. I was stunned at how much they LOVE these treats! My Rottweiler's little nub of a tail just vibrates with excitement when she sees me open the canister and my Labrador can hardly contain himself. Lets just say that there is alot of drool when it is treat time! This is by far their favorite snack and I have stopped buying them anything else. I also don't have to worry as much about calories as this is a low fat, low calorie treat. One note - I tried the "fries" shaped treats and found that they tended to dry out faster than the regular shape. Overall, I am very pleased with this product as are my dogs.

I have an American Eskimo that can only eat foods with high fiber and low fat due to pancreatitis. I was a little skeptical that she would eat these treats. I purchased them anyway and gave her one. BUY THESE TREATS! They are the greatest treats I have ever found. I have just run out of my jar of them and have to order another right away. My dog has come to know that saying "sweet potato" means she's getting one of these - and it excites her WAY more than hearing the word "treat." I also feel much better feeding her treats that are all natural. The fries are a great size for smaller dogs. I would recommend these to anyone with a dog!

These Sweet Potato treats are AWESOME!! Our dogs have always loved them, but now our Mastiff is on a special Salmon & Sweet Potato (grain-free) diet and is very limited on what he can have for snacks. We brought these with us when we took him to a local doggie boutique and the shop owners & customers were all amazed at how "Fresh" they seem and completely natural! The dogs all love them and, as another reviewer mentioned, they don't leave a crumbly mess in your pocket or treat bag! They also don't STINK like our Mastiff's other treat option...salmon. LOL These have almost no discernable fragrance to humans, but our dogs sure know when they are coming their way! HIGHLY recommend!!

Our 3 year old yellow lab is an allergy dog. Those of you who have an allergy dog will understand how hard it is to find good treats (besides fresh veggies and fruit) that she can easily tolerate and not pack on pounds. My Cocker Spaniel, Shiloh, was recently diagnosed with IBD and put on a restricted diet of venison and potato. He cannot have rawhides or any of the other treats that have meat proteins.
