Excellent for cats !
I foster rescued cats which means my needs change on a daily basis. I love this cage because it can be used as one big one or simply changed to 2 cages quickly and easily. It's also easy to clean. I have put 2 of these together with the add-on with no help and I'm 62. I highly recommend a rubber mallet, it comes with a Phillips head screwdriver.

The best ferret cage!
This is one of, if not, the BEST ferret cage. I have the four level, 2 cage unit and am ordering the add on (had 2 ferrets and added another who should have the same luxurious home). Easy to clean, easy access to the "kids". This is one of the most stable cages I have ever seen and it is definitly built to last. My previous cages were moderatley priced but very "lightweight" I had been replacing cages after about 2 years with wear and tear visible after the 3rd or 4th cleaning. I have scrubbed this cage 3 times a week for the past 2 years and it still appears brand new. The ladder covers are easy on and off for washing. Only minor issues I had were: 1. installing "ferret litter pans" as the horizontal wire placement did not work with pans I owned or saw available to purchase. Devised a remedy using an open, mid size cat litter pan and velcroed the bottom to the plastic tray. 2. also regarding horizontal wire placement was water bottle placement. Not really an option for height. One of my ferrets is tall and has to lay down to drink. Okay for now but I am still searching for a waterbottle that will work better, perhaps with a cage mounting system like the food crocks attachment.

Very well made!!
I purchased this for my cat. I had purchased another type and it was small and cramped. This is great!!! Only thing I could say is the holes to get to the other floors could be a bit larger, my kitty has to squeeze through but I know this was designed for ferrets. With a few changes it could be used and sold for cats, too.

This product is everything a ferret needs!
This cage is amazing! IT is a little pricey but knowing that I may not have to ever have to buy another cage it is definitely worth your money! The two level is great for up to 4 ferrets and if you want them to have more space or if you purchase more ferrets you can purchase another level. I do recommend if you only have 2-3 ferrets only go with the two level or they will not use the extra space. I have 2 right now and I am in the process of adopting a few more and I know that my Ferret Nation Cage will be up for the job!
The easy double doors open fully so you can clean the entire cage easily. With the wheels the cage has you can move the cage wherever you need to! The easy to access bottom storage is awesome if you dont want to store things on the floor. The one thing abou thte cage is that it is kind of a pain to put together but is one of the best homes for ferrets you can find!
