This crumbled feed supplement gives your horse the benefits of Vitamin E and selenium for optimum nutritional muscular health. Ideal when these supplements are lacking in your horse's regular feed. Also ideal for horses that compete, train or work hard, or for limiting the damaging effects of free radicals due to toxins in the environment or ingested. Vitamin E and selenium are thought to neutralize the damaging effects of free radicals within a horse's body by stopping the chain of oxidative reactions.
A horse's need for these supplements will vary depending upon pollution, exercise level, pregnancy, lactation, growth, and dietary fat levels. Because environmental and/or free radical damage accumulates with age, antioxidant supplementation is also commonly recommended for senior horses. Palatable molasses flavor. 1-oz measuring scoop enclosed. For horses.
Suggested use: 1/4 to 1/2 scoop. Top dress or mix in grain ration. Each 1/2 ounce contains 1 mg Selenium.

Vitamin E and the mineral selenium are important antioxidants. Antioxidants are important for your horse on many levels. Nature supplies antioxidants to protect us from the destructive effects of environmental free radicals. Free radicals are caused by ultra-violet rays from the sun, x-rays, exposure to pesticides, insecticides, herbicides and more. What’s more, free radical damage accumulates with age. Using antioxidants helps slow down and prevent free radical damage that speeds up aging and cell damage.
Antioxidants work together to neutralize free radicals. Each one works in a slightly different pathway, so it is best to administer several antioxidants rather than all one kind.
