Epsom Salt Poultice 20 oz Jar
we keep it in the tack room for use when needed - we keep it in the house for ourselves to use and it works wonders - can keep it wrapped up over night. It does not take a lot (as one other customer wrote) and the warmer it is the easier to use - I'll take it out with a spoon - put it on a tissue o.e. and then on the body part in question before I wrap it. Wrap it well since due to the body temp it will start oozing ... the effect is quite amazing and fast on bruises or joint pain of any type.

Really sticky, not a good value
This stuff seemed like a good idea in that I wouldn't have to mix epsom salts myself with water and try to keep the solution from falling out of my horse's hoof while I taped it up. Unfortunately, this poultice is ridiculously sticky, difficult to use, and you have to use a ton of it (maybe 1/3 of the jar) to pack the hoof. For the price it's just not worth it, as I can buy a huge bag of epsom salt at the local pharmacy for $4 and it lasts forever. This jar of poultice will probably only last for three or four hoof packs before you run out. I also so far haven't noticed it working any better than plain old epsom salts and water.
