Contoured fetlock boots prevent injury and aid rehabilitation. Durable, padded neoprene construction wraps completely around your horse's leg to protect the cannon bone, splint bone, tendons, and soft tissue. Also adds comfort and support to any preexisting injuries your horse may have. Features a nylon lining to help absorb energy as the hoof impacts the ground. Unique suspension strap stretches to allow full ankle movement but eliminates hyperextension of the fetlock as your horse moves. Includes four adjustable hook and loop straps for a secure, glove-like fit that keeps dirt away from any leg injuries. Closed-cell, limestone-based neoprene resists cracks and crumbles, is suited for use in any weather, and doesn't absorb water or harbor bacteria growth. Choose from Front Pair, Rear Pair, or convenient SMB 4-Pack! Manufacturer's one-year limited warranty.

Sizing Instructions
The Sports Medicine Boot Elite (SMB® Elite) is available in two designs to accommodate the front and hind legs. Knowing that each leg functions differently, the SMB® Elite is contoured to provide exceptional fit and function.
It is important to choose the correct size for your horse to get the optimum benefits from the SMB® Elite. In the charts below there are circumference and height measurements. The circumference measurement of the boot is more critical than the height because the boot must fit around the horse's leg and overlap of at least 1/2" to 1-1/2" to be effective. When sizing the height of the horse and the coarseness of the bone should be taken into account, but these should not be the only determining factors.
The SMB® Elite is available in small, medium and large sizes. As a general rule, horses will use the same size on both the front and hind legs. For instance, many mature horses wear the SMB® Elite in a medium on the front and an SMB® Elite medium on the hind leg as well. However, in such instances where a horse may have pronounced size differences in the fetlocks, the horse may wear a smaller size in the front than in the rear, or vice-versa.
To choose the correct size, refer to the chart below. If you are still unsure which size to get, you should measure the circumference of your horse's front and rear fetlocks at the widest point. After doing so, choose the boot size that is the next bigger size than your measurement.
As an example, if your horse's fetlock measures 10-1/2" in the front and 11-1/2" in the rear, you should choose a pair of SMB® Elites in a medium for both the front and rear.
