Warm the terrarium water of your aquatic reptile with this submersible heater. Compact, low-profile, 100 watt heater boasts a protective, high-impact plastic housing that keeps your pet safely away from the heating element. Features an automatic thermostat that maintains a constant, optimum 78°F water temperature. Includes two oversized suction cups for simple mounting and an 8 ft long power cord. Housing has three power cord openings to adjust the cord position to your specific terrarium setup. UL-Listed. Heats up to 30 gallons. Measures 2" wide x 7-3/4" long x 2-1/2" high (including suction cup mounts).

1. Determine the best place to locate the heater in the aquatic portion of your terrarium. Ideally, the heater should be placed on the bottom in an area with ample water circulation.
   a. NOTE: The heater should always be completely submerged in water when plugged in.
Decide how you will route the power cord.
2. Unlock the heater housing by pressing the two buttons on the end of the housing.
3. Lift the end of the housing and route the heater cord through one of the three openings, depending on how the heater will be positioned in the terrarium.
4. Close the heater cage by snapping the locking tabs into place.
5. Position the heater in the terrarium.
6. Press down lightly on the unit to secure both suction cups to the bottom of the terrarium.
7. Route the power cord out of the terrarium.
8. Create a drip loop.
9. Wait at least 15 minutes for the heater to stabilize to the current water temperature.
10. Plug the heater into a standard electric wall outlet.

NOTE: If you are installing the heater in a new terrarium, fill to the desired water level, wait 15 minutes, and then plug the heater into the electrical wall outlet. Allow at least 24 hours for the water to reach the correct temperature before adding reptiles or fish.

Maintenance Instructions
If the heater needs to be removed from the water, unplug the power cord and wait 15 minutes to allow the heater to cool before exposing it to air. Clean the exterior, plastic housing with clean, aquarium-safe water and a soft bristle brush or pad. The suction cups will adhere to the aquarium better if the glass is free of algae and debris.

1. Place the heater along the bottom rear wall of the terrarium. Use plants to hide the heater.
2. Use vines or plants to hide the heater cord.
3. Locate the heater close to the filter or water pump to maximize heater efficiency.

This heater is fantastic! It keeps the aquarium water at a consistent temperature and the added plastic guard prevents the heater from getting damaged. This is a great worry-free addition for our turtle.
