Pet Booster Seat

A luxurious ride for your pampered pet. Patent-pending design supports the seat from below, and provides an unobstructed view and more comfortable ride for pets - with no clumsy straps to get in their way. Installs securely in one minute and even works in the back seat! Standard features faux leather and sheepskin construction. Sheepskin liner removes for washing. Holds pets up to 12 lbs. Deluxe and X-Large have quilted microfiber exteriors with padded plaid liners. All have zippered front storage pockets and safety leashes. Liners remove for washing.

Set the fabric liner and adjustable straps aside for now, and remove any packing material from the two support rods. Working one at a time, swivel the rods into a vertical orientation and slip them into the slots at the bottom edge of each side of the basket. The rods should be visible as they pass through to the inside of the basket. Carefully slide each rod into the plastic tube located on the inside wall of the basket. After both rods are fully inserted, push down on the basket floor to make sure the seat is fully assembled and feels stable.

The removable fabric liner can now be installed. Find the three slits located about two inches in from one of the edges. This is the back edge, and the three slits should align with the three D- rings along the back edge of the basket. Slip the liner over the D-rings and wrap the other edges over the other three sides of the basket, taking care to line up the various hook-and-loop fasteners along each edge. Adjust the liner inside the basket for the best fit. To remove the liner for washing, follow the above steps in reverse.

To install the Booster Seat to the vehicle's bucket seat, attach the shorter adjustable strap to the two D-rings on the top edge of the basket and slip the strap over the headrest. Adjust this strap to change the elevation of the Booster Seat. Attach the longer strap to one of the D-rings on the side of the rigid backboard and loop around the bucket seat and attach to the D-ring on the other side of the backboard. Tighten this strap to make sure the Booster Seat is secure.

If the bucket seat does not have a headrest, loosen the top strap and allow the Booster Seat to slide down the front of the bucket seat until the backboard is resting on the bottom seat cushion. Both straps will now be wrapping around the back of the bucket seat. Tighten both straps to secure the Booster Seat.

To install the Booster Seat on a bench seat, (most back seats are bench-types), the seat must have headrests. Attach the shorter strap as described above for the bucket seat and wrap it around the headrest and adjust as necessary. The longer strap is not used on bench seat applications.

The 1/2-inch wide strap can be used as a lead to attach to your pet's collar or harness (not included). Fasten one end of the strap to the harness and the other to the D-ring on the center back of the basket.

WARNING: Be sure that this strap is adjusted to a length short enough to keep your pet from jumping out of the basket. If the lead is too long, there is the danger that your pet can jump out of the basket with the lead still attached. A harness is recommended instead of a collar to secure your pet safely.

Cleaning Instructions:
Promptly wipe up any foreign matter or standing liquid with a damp cloth or sponge. Machine wash the fabric liner in cold water with mild detergent and line dry.

CAUTION: The Pet Booster seat is not a safety device or long term holding pen. Do not attempt to make adjustments to the seat or straps while driving. Do not leave your pet in an unattended vehicle.

We have two Pomeranians and so bought two of these. They were easy to set up and easy to secure to the back seats. They are high enough off the seat that we can still utilize the seat beneath them for small bags or coats or what have you. They seem sturdy and comfortable- Our dogs enjoy sitting up watching the scenery as it passes by but after a while they begin nodding off and eventually settle down into the warm, padded interior and they look every bit content and happy. I like the fact that we can clip their harnesses to them as well.

Our Sammi didn't like being in any vehicle and now he runs to the trunk and jumps up to get in the truck. We have traveled to South Carolina twice within three weeks and when Sammi is in his booster seat, he is snooring in minutes. Easy to put together and very easy to install. Plenty of room for dog and toys. Perfect height to see out the window.

I have 2 Havanese - one is petite (9 lbs.) and one is full size (13 lbs.). I bought the X- Large Deluxe size and both dogs fit comfortably as long as they're sitting down - which they're suppose to be anyway! They took to it immediately and so did I. They can safely look out the window. It attaches easily and securely. The firm back provides stability and firm support. I love the fact that there are no straps in the front of the seat for the girls to get tangled up in and the X-Large comes with two harness attachments. I'd recommend this seat to all small and mid-size dog owners.

I have two Pugs, 18 and 22 lbs. Got 2 of the X-Lg seats. I can put both of them in one, but they're more comfortable in two. They do very well in these, the harness clamp is easy to use, the seat gives them a nice view and keeps them out of the drivers lap - much more safe for all of us! Seems well made.

I got the x-large deluxe for Valentino, our dachshund. To our surprise, he took to it right away. We travel quite a lot, so this was great for him and for us. We put his seat in the back, so he can look out and also see us, which is great. It was very simple to set up.
