Tubular steel panels feature screw-tight tension hinges and stretch to close openings 76" wide. This gate features two swing-open access doors: a large door for you, and a small door for your cat or small dog. Walk-through access door swings open in one direction and secures with an adult-operated spring-loaded latch. Small pet access door swings open in both directions and closes with a spring-tension pin. Screw-mount hardware affords simple, fast and secure set-up. Each panel features slats 2-3/4" wide. Add up to three additional 24-1/2" wide x 30" high Extension Panels to cover openings up to 12.5 ft wide (when configured in a straight line). Extra Tall version secures equally large openings but stands 38" tall to safely contain the largest of dog breeds. Available in Beige only.

Fit the Screw-tight Tension Hinge on each of the Extensions (sold separately) and the Gate.
Tighten each Hinge together via the Screw-tight Pin.
Place the Gate in the desired opening.

With a Pencil, mark each of the three Screw Holes.
Repeat Steps #6 and 7 for the second Mounting Plate.
With a Hand or Electric Drill, drill a small pilot hole for each of the six screw locations.
Using a Phillips Screwdriver and the included Metal Screws, affix each Mounting Plate to each side of the desired opening.
Once secure, reposition the Gate in the opening.
Slightly lift each Gate end to align the Plastic Tabs on the end Panel with the Notch on the Mounting Plate.
Once aligned, firmly press downward on the Gate to secure the end Panel to the Mounting Plate.
Cleaning Your Flexi-Gate
If necessary, hand-wash your gate with soft, wet cloth and a mild soap. Ensure the gate is thoroughly rinsed and towel or air dried before returning to your pet's environment.

This is a really good product. I like that it's semi-freestanding so it's not limited to doorways, while still being quite durable. Our lab puppy has been using it for about 6 months, and we're ordering more panels to give him a bigger area now that he's gotten larger. It gives him so much more room than a crate, and we know that he's safe from mischief (and the 3 cats) when we're not around to supervise.
I bought this gate to position around my front door to provide a further barrier between the door and my escape artist of a Siberian Husky (as anyone who knows huskies will agree, you have to make your place into a fortress!) I am renting for now so I have not mounted the gate on my wall, although it came with the hardware to do so. Even without being mounted on the wall, it provides a substantial barrier that she respects. The walk-through gate opens and closes smoothly and the hardware seems sturdy. It is also more attractive than I thought it would be - it has a neutral offwhite color. My only complaint is that I would have preferred to have a wider gate opening, and would have paid more for that. As it is the opening is pretty narrow so maneuvering something like a bicycle through it is difficult. I doubt most people actually use it on their front door (or store their bikes inside the apt. like we do). Anyway, it is a nice product and kudos to Drs. F&S for their quick shipping and reasonable prices. I am sure this gate will help contain our incorrigible husky for years to come.
We have had the Flexi Gate in our home for several years, and now we are building a new home and will again put up this gate in 2 areas to secure our pets. This gate with extensions fits the area perfectly. We have been very pleased with our original purchase, this is why we chose this brand again.
Pet gates, made of steel, plastic, or wood, help you keep your dog out of trouble by restricting his access to specific rooms/areas or confining him to acceptable surroundings.
As every pet owner knows, certain times and situations require that you safely contain your pet. Choosing the right product for your pet and your needs helps ensure your pet's safety and well-being when contained.
