Installation pains
So I needed a shutoff for a bucket I fill with RO water. This seems like the perfect solution. The instructions are really pretty good. Just take your time and go through them all first so that you have a good understanding of the set up.
So time to start the installation. Here's the problem, the tubing that comes with this unit is too short for my needs, and my current tubing must've shrunk because it was too loose in the fittings. Yes even with the end plugs, when screwed in the tubing would come right now. This is an older Kent High-S RO unit. So off to the hardware store. I bought more tubing and a few new brass fittings. Get the 1/4" fittings with 1/8" threads.
So after adding these parts, the installation was complete. Now the big question does it work???? I was pretty nervous at first, worried about leaks or blow outs from the hoses not fitting perfect. I started filling up my 5 gallon bucket and checked on it even two minutes and no problems. BUT then I forget about it until an hour later. Now this would have been a huge flood before, BUT not this time, the shut off value WORKED PERFECT, no flood, no leaks and no tubing blow out!!
Works great, but order more tubing ahead of time!!

This product does not work
I ordered one shut off valve and it would not shut off the water flow. I had already thrown away the box so I did not return it. I assumed it was faulty and ordered another valve. The new valve would not work and was causing an overflow just like the first valve. Do not waste your money on this product.
