This product is exactly as described.
This is our parrot's first cuttle bone and holder so he was afraid of it but in time will come to use it. I would order a larger cuttle bone next time. The holder secures the bone nicely and has a perch for the parrot to sit on. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a bird.

Better than I thought.
This holder is brilliant! I put a 6 inch cuttlebone in and fits snugly in place. I usually use tie wraps to keep the cuttlebone attached to the cage but that was becoming expensive so I bought this instead. My cockatiel usually loves to tear apart the cuttlebone but has yet to discover it now that it's in its new holder. He just needs some time but otherwise, it's a great investment.

good product
I have 4 'keets and they are pros at tearing up a cuttlebone and throwing it to the bottom of the cage. Not any more! This will hold it while they eat , the bottom catches the "dust" that they will come back and eat. It holds a variety of sizes and I have yet to see a cuttlebone fall out. It is secure and my birds love it!
