PondCare Aquatic Planting Media 10 lbs
looks great and stays in place
Does not get into filter, fish seem to enjoy rooting through the bottom of the pond.

Poor results but may be due to growing season
This planting media seemed like a wonderful idea in combination with the baskets so we re-planted all of the lilies this past spring. We fed them on a regular basis but the plants failed to thrive. They bloomed but flowers were very small compared to other years. The water iris however developed massive roots that went through the holes in the baskets but the irises never bloomed. Additionally, the ponds were clogged with string algae when we closed the ponds for the winter. We treated and manually removed the algae all season long. We did have a lot of rain and cloudy weather this year so maybe that contributed to my unfortunate experience. I still think the concept is a good one but will probably go back to soil next year. Would appreciate any comments.
