Space-saving 420nm fluorescent tubes peak at an actinic range of 420nm. Provide the proper light necessary for healthy growth of photosynthetic corals. Strong emissions in the blue region of the spectrum simulate the softer light conditions of dusk/dawn and the blue hue of deeper water. Great for reef aquariums.

Use T-5 tubes with compatible T-5 light fixtures with high output electronic ballasts to help increase efficiency and tube life. The average life of T-5 tubes is 2 years, with the blue/actinic spectrum lamps lasting up to 18 months.
