Viralys Powder 100gm
Helped my Cat
I have a cat that always seemed to catch a virus. My vet suggested giving him a Lysine supplement. After the second visit in a six month period for an unknown virus - no respiratory issues, just fever and lethargic, I figured it was worth a try. I have been using for a year and the only time he has been to the vet has been for annual shots. I now give to all of my cats. Just a scoop in their wet food, they don't even know its there.

Picky eater approved!
One of my cats will eat anything, so giving him the lysine treats wasn't a problem. But the other cat wouldn't touch the lysine treats, so this powder was a godsend! Now I don't have to give 10 treats per day to either cat...just sprinkle some of this on their food and they both eat it without a problem! Both of their herpes symptoms have disappeared, so I really couldn't be happier.

Our vet prescribed this for our cats as a regular food suppliment. I ran out so I purchased more from Fosters and Smith. We have several cats as we are dealing with a feral colony in our area. (Anyone need an extra cat?) The L Lysine is needed to help the cats deal with the herpes virus that many cats get. It works really well and since it stinks a little like rotten fish the cats eat it well also.

Great product! I have bought the other versions (gel and food pellets) and my cat would not eat either. I tried this as a last resort to reduce her herpes outbreaks and hopefully boost her immune system....she eats the entire bowl of soft food when i mix this in. For the first time in 2 years, she has finally gone more then a few months (and counting) without a herpes outbreak and it has helped calm her down with chewing on everythinhg in the house to itch the outbreak. I recommend this product for cats and the recommended dose of twice a day goes a long way for the price. I know it wont cure it but it has reduced her symptoms significantly.
