Rated 5 out of 5 by limpy Great for 'fussy' cats
Six of our eight cats need lysine. Two of the little stinkers will not regularly eat the kibble type lysine. All of our 6 cats will take the powder type lysine on their food without a problem. This product is great if you have a problem with your cats not taking lysine as they should.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Viralysuser No surprises; the product arrived as advertised.
I have been using Viralys t for years on the recommendation of my veterinary eye specialist to prevent the reactivation of feline herpes virus. My cat has not had a re-occurrence since using this product.
I have ordered Viralys from other vendors and have received containers that came without a safety seal. These had to be returned. The containers from Foster and Smith are properly sealed so I will continue to order from this company.

There had been a stray cat that had been living outside the back door of my house for about six months. I didn't know a thing about cats but I saw his health declining so I decided I would rescue him. I took him to get neutered and found out that he had FIV. Only two days after his surgery I could hear him wheezing, struggling to breath, and his eyes were constantly watering. I took him to the Vet who along with an antibiotic gave me the Viralys to give to him every day. After the antibiotic ended the major respiratory infection seemed to have cleared up, but he was still not in good health, I kept giving Viralys. He has been on Viralys for two months and is not only in good health, which is all I had originally wanted, but he is thriving. He's not miserable anymore from suffering with all of the ailments that he was suffering with. He's so loving, sweet, and gentle, and has no health issues currently. I will continue to give him Viralys so he can stay as healthy as he can for a long time:)

I have rescued kittens/cats and fostered for years. Coming from various backgrounds, they frequently arrive with upper respiratory problems. After several months on Viralys powder all but one of six have completely resolved. If you keep multiple cats I believe it's a good addition to their diet of wet/canned food to keep them all healthy. It's my understanding that L-lysine is essential to the body but only comes from supplements, so I use it.
